The task was a 2-week-rush project to develop an own-able and distinct brand identity for the then embryonic, a new digital journalism platform.  Through brand-scape auditing and color analysis, we developed a look and feel that is literary, smart, innovative, sophisticated, and hip—over any and all communication channels. 6 directions were pitched, the following was selected. was later named one of TIME magazines “50 Best Websites of 2013”.
